Visa Check Cards
Upon Approval, VISA check cards are issued to checking account customers 18 years of age or older.
They can be used with a PIN # at ATM machines to get cash or used at stores to purchase goods or services.
The one day limit for ATM withdrawal is $300.00 and the purchase limit is $500.00.
Use of your card is a withdrawal from you checking account and the amount must be deducted from your balance.
Safety Deposit Boxes
Safety Deposit Boxes are available to our customers.
We have lock boxes 2" high by 5" wide and 22 " long. The price for this size box is $10.00 Annual Rent plus tax.

NOW Account Sweep Overdraft Feature
Sweep overdraft protection is available for your NOW account. Funds can be taken from a Citizens Federal donor account and transferred to your NOW account to cover any check that would cause you to be overdrawn. The fee for Sweep transactions is $10.00 per transaction.
Direct Teller
Use the Citizens Federal Direct Teller for accurate 24-hour account information. Dial
1-800-436-5177 using a touch-tone telephone and follow the easy steps for entering your account number and password. You will be able to obtain:
· Account Balances · Account History · Interim Statement, Limited checking history (small fee will apply if fax requested)
You will also be able to transfer funds between your Citizens Federal checking and savings account. Savings may transfer 5 times free in a calendar quarter, ex: Jan-March. Checking may transfer 5 times free in a month. Each transfer after 5 is 50 cents each. Please note, the first SS# on the "from" account must match the first SS#'s on the "to" account.
ATM Services
Enjoy the convenience of our Citizens Federal ATM card by accessing your statement savings account at any ATM machine nationwide. Use your ATM card and personal identification number to deposit or withdraw from your account. A small per transaction fee will apply when using any machine other than Citizens Federal.

Savings Bonds
For many years, Citizens Federal has been an agent of the Department of the Treasury for the issuance, redemption or exchange of U.S. Savings Bonds. Bond Series currently being offered are EE and I. Savings Bonds can help you save for education or can be an excellent way to help build savings for retirement. Savings Bonds are also a much-appreciated gift. They are easy to purchase and the earned interest is tax deferred until redemption of the bond.
EE Savings Bonds
. Purchase for 50 percent of the face amount
· Earn interest at market-based rates for up to 30 years
· Interest accrues so that bond increases in value
· Can cash anytime after 12 months
· Interest is exempt from state and local income tax
· Federal tax can be deferred until redemption of the bond
· A limit of $15,000 purchase price, per person, per calendar year
· Forfeit three months interest if cashed within the first five years
I Bonds (Inflation-Indexed)
· Purchase for face amount
· Grow in value as interest accrues for up to 30 years
· Can cash anytime after 12 months
· Forfeit three-month earnings if cashed within the first five years
· Available in denominations of $50 to $10,000
· Can qualify for education exclusion
