COVID 19 Relief Program

If you are experiencing financial difficulties related to COVID 19, Citizens Federal Savings and Loan Association is here for you. If you currently have a mortgage or home equity account with us and are worried about upcoming payments, please contact us at (937) 593-0015 and ask to speak with a loan officer about our COVID 19 Relief Program. *STIMULUS CHECK INFO*
We want to remind our customers that when you come to our drive-thru to cash your stimulus check you will be asked to provide the teller with the drivers' license of each individual named on the check. We are taking extra precautions to protect our customers against fraud during these times. Once again, to cash your stimulus check, you must provide the teller with the drivers' license of each individual named on the check.

 

*ADDITIONAL CLARIFICATION*
If you would like to cash a stimulus check made payable to 2 people, and both people are Citizens Federal customers, we will require the IDs of both people, but only one would need to be present at the time of the transaction.
However, if you would like to cash a stimulus check made payable to 2 people and only one is a Citizens Federal customer, we will require both people to be present with their IDs at the time of the transaction. In this scenario, if the Citizens Federal customer comes alone, we will not cash the check until they bring the other person named on the check with them.

 

 

 

Also, at this time, we are unable to cash stimulus checks for noncustomers. If a person brings us their stimulus check and no one named on the check has accounts at Citizens Federal, we will not be able to cash the check at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience and would suggest that you take your stimulus check to a financial institution that you have accounts with and allow them to handle this transaction.

 COVID-19 RESPONSE

We continue to monitor and follow COVID -19 (coronavirus) guidelines provided by the government, Centers for Disease Control, and medical professionals. “Flattening the curve” through social distancing is proving to be an appropriate and necessary step to slow down the spread of this virus. The health of our staff, customers, and the community continues to be our focus. In order to prioritize the health and safety of our customers, we will be implementing the following procedures.

 

          Beginning Monday, March 16th, 2020 our main office lobby will be closed to the public
          Our drive-thru will still be operating during our normal hours
                    Monday and Tuesday 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
                    Wednesday and Saturday 8:30 AM – Noon
                    Thursday and Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
          Our drive-thru can process all deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments.

 

          Citizens Federal’s drive-thru is located at 126 N. Main St in Bellefontaine.

We are fortunate to have the flexibility to serve our customers through different channels, such as our ATM, drive-thru, Online Banking, Mobile Banking, Telephone Banking (1-844-539-6763), and our night deposit dropbox. We understand that not all businesses have this luxury. We echo Mayor Stahler’s encouragement to support local businesses by purchasing a gift card, ordering carryout, and visiting the store’s website.
